Prior to her consulting career, Mui Hwa worked 15 years across Singapore, North Asia and the UK for three major international advertising firms, resulting in a regional role. She also co founded and conducted "Assertiveness and Empowerment" workshops for working women in Hong Kong from 1995-1997. Mui Hwa has also been actively involved in developing and facilitating Fair Employment Practice workshops for Singapore’s Tripartite Alliance for Fair Employment Practices (TAFEP).

Mui Hwa is certified in Myers-Briggs Personality Types (Mbti) and Workplace Big 5 and is well experienced in facilitating DISC Personality Profiling. She majored in Sociology and Linguistics from the National University of Singapore and has a post graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from the UK.
