Kate Simpson, Vice President, Prime Financial Services, J.P. Morgan 

 

Kate has called Singapore home for over ten years, having previously lived in Dublin, Milan and Paris. The first organization she joined upon arriving to Singapore was the Financial Women’s Association and she has been an active member ever since.

 

At J.P Morgan , Kate is part of the APAC product development team within Prime Financial Services focusing on new markets and products, regulation and client content. She has a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion and sits on the leadership team of J.P. Morgan’s Women on the Move.

 

Kate has a degree from University College Dublin, Universita Bocconi and a Master’s in Management from HEC business school.  She is Vice President of the European Chamber of Commerce Singapore and sits on the Irish Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

Lee Hwee Boon, Head of Group Human Resources, OCBC

 

Ms Lee Hwee Boon was appointed Head of Group Human Resources in June 2022. Being Head of Group Human Resources, she is responsible for the management, training and development of our human capital.


Prior to this appointment, Ms Lee has worked in diverse functions in OCBC Group, covering strategy, risk management as well as corporate and commercial banking. She holds a Bachelor of Business with Honours from Nanyang Technological University and is an IBF Fellow.

 


Chia Yong Yong, BBM, PBM, Advisor, SPD

 

Ms Chia Yong Yong was a member of SPD’s Board of Management from 2004 and served as its President between 2008 and 2020. After stepping down as President in September 2020, Ms Chia was appointed to SPD’s Board Advisory Panel where she continues to give guidance and support SPD.

 

She is a practising lawyer and a strong advocate for persons with disability. Having stepped down from the Board of SG Enable in December 2022, she continues to shape the disability landscape through her contribution as member of the 4th Enabling Master Plan 2030 Steering Committee. She also joined the Housing & Development Board as a Board member in October 2022. Previously, Ms Chia was a steering committee member of the 3rd Enabling Master Plan and co-chaired its Implementation Workgroup on “Promoting Independent Living through Design and Technology. She was also a member of the Committee on the Future Economy, the Tote Board Charity (Social Service) Sub-Committee and the Compulsory Education Advisory Panel.

 

With her training in law, Ms Chia contributes back to society through her involvement as a panel member of the Law Society’s approved Mediators and approved Investigative Tribunal members. She served as a Nominated Member of Parliament for two terms from 2014 to 2018.

 

Ms Chia was the winner of Women’s Weekly “Great Women of Our Times” in 2014 and received the Social Innovative Park Fellow Award in the same year. She was also awarded the Bintang Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Star) in 2018, the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (Public Service Medal) in 2013, and the President’s Social Service Award (Individual Category) in 2011. A social service veteran, Ms Chia was made a Social Service Fellow in July 2020 in recognition for her past contributions to the social service sector.

 


Priscilla Chong, Country Manager, AWS Singapore

 

Priscilla is the Country Manager for AWS Singapore’s commercial business where she manages a portfolio that spans enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses and startups. Her focus is on driving organizational structure and culture to deliver the best business results for customers. A strong advocate for innovation and growth, Priscilla constantly ascertains new ways to cater to customers’ needs, while driving strategic partner engagements. 

 

Prior to joining AWS, Priscilla spent more than 15 years at Hewlett Packard where she took on various commercial leadership roles before becoming the Managing Director at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. She was responsible for amplifying customer innovation and strategic partner engagements that help enhance business outcomes.  Priscilla is Singaporean and holds a Bachelor of Business, Financial Analysis from Nanyang Technological University.

Deadline for registration is 5 March 2024. Please sign up early to avoid disappointment. We apologise that any request for places after the deadline will not be entertained. As places are limited and if you have RSVP but cannot make it, we appreciate that you cancel your registration so that we can make the place available to someone else. No Show Policy

We understand that with busy schedules, there may be times when you cannot make an event after you have registered for it. In the event that you cannot make an event, we appreciate that you use our new tool now available to cancel the event. Cancellation is allowed up to 2 days ahead of the event date.
