Financial Women’s Association of Singapore (FWA), in collaboration with American Express is pleased to bring you another episode of FWA Exchange: Putting the “US” in AMBITIOUS.
Despite advances, women continue to have a complicated relationship with ambition and without advocates to recognize and support women to be more ambitious, this may never change. According to a survey conducted by American Express, in partnership with the New York Women’s Foundation on women’s relationships with ambition, only 3 in 10 women say they are proud to call themselves “ambitious” and women’s definition of ambition shows they prioritise personal ambition over professional ambition.
Since the launch of The Ambition Project, American Express has started important conversations about women embracing ambition. During this event we will continue this discussion by welcoming leaders from different financial institutions to share:
- what ambition means to them
- how they manifest their ambition
- how they are being ambitious for others
Join US!
“ We are empowering women to own their ambition with #TheAmbitionProject.
Together we’re putting the ‘US’ in AmbitioUS. “
