WOMEN WEAR MANY HATS – MANAGING STRESS TO OPTIMISE SUCCESS
WHO has defined burnout as a legitimate medical diagnosis and identified through feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion, increased mental distance from one's job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one's job and reduced professional efficacy.
Women handle multiple roles in life – from employee/leader/business owner to mother, daughter, caregiver and home creator. The many hats we wear can start to take a toll on how we manage our day to day lives in our attempts to juggle all that we do. This has an impact on our physical, mental and emotional well-being and not all of us know, or have been taught, how to handle these more effectively.
Understanding how to navigate and deal with stress and overwhelm, both at work and home is essential. Mallika Kripalani, the founder of The Conscious Zone, will be sharing strategies and practical tools and applying them to help us understand how to manage the stresses we women face. These tools can be used to handle challenges as they arise, and to deal with emotional drain we all experience as women on a regular basis. When we learn to cope with our daily stressors in a more effective way, we can be more productive and perform at a higher level.
This will be an interactive and experiential session
