PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Welcome to the Financial Women’s Association Singapore community.

Whether you are a long-time member or newly discovering us, we are delighted to have you here. FWA Singapore is more than a professional network — it is a community built on connection, shared learning, and the belief that women can achieve more when we support one another.

This year is a particularly meaningful one for us as we mark 25 years of building connections, supporting careers, and strengthening the community of women in finance in Singapore. What began as a small group of women gathering informally over brown-bag lunches to exchange ideas and experiences has, over time, grown into a vibrant and supportive network of individual and corporate members, alongside supportive male allies — all committed to learning from one another and paying it forward.

Throughout the year, we will continue to bring members together through a wide range of programmes, including industry dialogues, mentoring initiatives, networking sessions, fireside chats, and community-building events. We also look forward to marking this milestone year with a special celebration to honour the journey of the organisation and the many individuals who have helped shape it.

FWA has always been a volunteer-led organisation, and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers who have generously given their time and energy to nurture this community. Many of us have gained mentorship, friendships, wisdom, and opportunities for personal growth — a reminder that when we give, we often gain in return.

We are also deeply grateful to our Champions and Mentors — both women and men — whose guidance and encouragement help strengthen this community and inspire the next generation of leaders.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to building on the foundations laid over the past 25 years and shaping the next chapter of FWA together.
