It is also common to think that technology is at the centre of the virtual workforce but research shows us that people and the relationships between them are at the centre and have the most imp act on performance. Leading inclusively in a remote and virtual work envir onment means to be aware of and look out for these hidden traps. It means to consciously use a defined set of interpersonal skills to bridge the gap s that technology created and ensure that all individuals are included. Co upled with this we are often working remotely with clients\, which adds a challenge to the relationship building process.
