Safehouse is a 3-hour experiential\, trans media game developed by GIC for 15 to 18 year-olds aimed at helping them t o understand what reserves management and long-term investing is all about . The game comprises two parts\, an online role-playing module that challe nges the player to rounds of quick and hard decision-making\, and a team-b ased strategy module that requires mental agility to complete seemingly si mple tasks. Safehouse has been rolled out to several schools (e.g. VJC\, H CI\, RI\, ACS (I)\, CHIJ St Nicholas\, AJC\, Singapore Sports School) and has generated great interest. To date\, more than 1300 students have under gone this unique financial literacy programme.
