Safehouse is a 3-hour experiential\, tr ansmedia game developed by GIC for 15 to 18 year-olds aimed at helping the m to understand what reserves management and long-term investing is all ab out. The game comprises two parts\, an online role-playing module that cha llenges the player to rounds of quick and hard decision-making\, and a tea m-based strategy module that requires mental agility to complete seemingly simple tasks. Safehouse has been rolled out to several schools (e.g. VJC\ , HCI\, RI\, ACS (I)\, CHIJ St Nicholas\, AJC\, Singapore Sports School) a nd has generated great interest. To date\, more than 1300 students have un dergone this unique financial literacy programme.
