It will be held on S aturday\, 12 November\, from 9.00am to 12.30pm\, with 60 spaces available. Safehouse is an experiential\, transmedia game of trade-offs that GIC dev eloped for 13 to 18 year-old students that aims to help them better unders tand reserves management and long-term investing. The in-school game compr ises two parts\, an online role-playing module that challenges the player to rounds of quick and hard decision-making and a team-based strategy modu le that requires mental agility to complete seemingly simple tasks. Safeho use has been rolled out to a variety of secondary schools\, ITE\, polytech nics and junior colleges (e.g. ACS (I)\, AJC\, Bishan Park Secondary\, HCI \, ITE College Central\, ITE College East\, RGS\, RI\, SCGS\, Republic Pol ytechnic\, Singapore Sports School\, VJC\, Yishun Town Secondary) and has generated great interest. To date\, more than 3\,600 students have undergo ne this unique financial programme. More than just fun\, students learn an d understand through gameplay some important financial principles such as risk diversification\, value versus price\, and picking their spots.
