What an eventful year it has been for our Crystal Jubilee year\, and a big shout-out goes to the wonderful FWA Executive and Sub-Committee memb ers who have so generously given of their time and energy for the cause of gender diversity\, as well as to you\, our members\, for your strong supp ort to FWA throughout the year. Our Crystal Jubilee event in Dec 2016 rais ed a total of $17\,000 for our designated charity\, Daughters of Tomorrow\ ; our Mentoring Programme continues to grow year-on-year and achieved a re cord bumper crop of more than 30 mentees in 2016\; for International Women ’s Day 2017 this week\, we broke further ground by getting 19 FWA Male C hampions\, representing 15 Financial Institutions in Singapore\, to pledge to achieve 30% of women in senior leadership roles by 2020 (http://www.bu sinesstimes.com.sg/banking-finance/pledge-to-boost-number-of-women-leaders -in-fis). Our membership base has continued to grow. As at the end of 2016 \, we had over 180 individual members\, and 34 corporate members. Partners hips with our Corporate Members continue to deepen and broaden through reg ular corporate sharing sessions\, and collaboration for our busy event cal endar – in 2016 we rolled out the very popular WINTECH series focusing o n women in the FinTech space\, in addition to the Males from the Top and K opitiam Chat – Female Role Model series. Our accounts remain healthy. Ho wever looking ahead towards the scale-up of our events and activities to m eet members’ growing expectations\, we find ourselves in a position to r eview our revenue and cost structures in accordance with an inflationary e nvironment.
