Prior to joinin g KKR\, Mr Shastry served as a managing partner of Northstar Group for fiv e years\, which at the time managed over $2 billion in private equity and venture capital funds with a focus on Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Nor thstar\, he worked at TPG Capital for over 13 years\, ultimately running T PG’s Southeast Asia business. Mr Shastry previously worked as an investm ent banker at Lehman Brothers in New York 1996 to 1998.
