Leadership diversity encompasses not only diversity at the gender level but also educational qualification s\, industry experience and age. The research finds several interesting re lationships between each diversity element. In this event\, we focus on ge nder diversity and its impact on firm performance. A unique finding is the concept of gender parity point and what this means for boards and senior management representation. Prof Lawrence Loh\, who authored the research w ith his team members\, will kick off the event with findings from the rese arch. This will be followed by a panel discussion where we bring leaders a nd FWA Champions from different areas of financial services - banking & te chnology - to share their views on this topic. Speakers Professor Lawrence Loh\, Director\, Centre for Governance and Sustainability NUS Business Sc hool Prof Lawrence Loh is Director\, Centre for Governance and Sustainabil ity at NUS Business School\, National University of Singapore where he is Professor of Practice in Strategy and Policy. He received a PhD from Massa chusetts Institute of Technology. His thesis on technology governance was awarded first prize in the worldwide doctoral competition in management in formation systems. Prof Loh leads sustainability initiatives for ASEAN and Singapore. He steers the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index and ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard. Prof Loh heads studies on business i ntegrity and workplace diversity. Prof Loh was lead consultant for informa tion technology manpower as well research and development manpower studies commissioned by the Singapore government.
