Leadership diversity encompas ses not only diversity at the gender level but also educational qualificat ions\, industry experience and age. The research finds several interesting relationships between each diversity element. In this event\, we focus on gender diversity and its impact on firm performance. A unique finding is the concept of gender parity point and what this means for boards and seni or management representation. Prof Lawrence Loh\, who authored the researc h with his team members\, will kick off the event with findings from the r esearch. This will be followed by a panel discussion where we bring leader s and FWA Champions from different areas of financial services - banking & technology - to share their views on this topic. Speakers Professor Lawre nce Loh\, Director\, Centre for Governance and Sustainability NUS Business School Prof Lawrence Loh is Director\, Centre for Governance and Sustaina bility at NUS Business School\, National University of Singapore where he is Professor of Practice in Strategy and Policy. He received a PhD from Ma ssachusetts Institute of Technology. His thesis on technology governance w as awarded first prize in the worldwide doctoral competition in management information systems. Prof Loh leads sustainability initiatives for ASEAN and Singapore. He steers the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index a nd ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard. Prof Loh heads studies on busines s integrity and workplace diversity. Prof Loh was lead consultant for info rmation technology manpower as well research and development manpower stud ies commissioned by the Singapore government.
