Workplace Harassment and Finding Resolutions

#Metoo Movement in Singapore - Trends and Opportunities

The #Metoo movement caused ripples online last October, leading to greater attention paid to sexual assault, harassment and inequality faced by women all over the world.

Singapore felt the effects too, with an 80% spike in calls to AWARE's Sexual Assault Care Centre since #Metoo. There has also been a similar increase in anti-workplace harassment training workshops arm provided by Catalyse Consulting, AWARE's corporate training arm.

Join this lunchtime information session led by experts from AWARE and Catalyse Consulting to learn about their experience in working with both survivors of workplace harassment and companies managing workplace harassment.

We will also be exploring:

  • Steps employees can take to deal with workplace harassment
  • How companies in Singapore take action against workplace gender inequality and sexual violence
  • What opportunities the #Metoo movement holds for women in the workplace to promote healthier, safer and more empowering workplaces*.

*AWARE will be launching its #Metoo Action Fund at its Annual Gala on 25 August 2018.

Come join us for an engaging, informative and empowering session.
