Satoshi Nakamoto first published a whitepaper outlining the details of the bitcoin concept in 2008. Since then, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology has proven its tremendous potential in the finance industry.

In this panel session, we will discuss the applications of blockchain in the fintech space and highlight a few blockchain-enabled business models. We will also cover questions such as: How does blockchain technology play a role in the cryptocurrency world? What is an ICO, and what is the difference between a security vs. utility token? How can we leverage on blockchain technology to build inclusive economies? What is the future of cryptocurrencies?

Anson Zeall 

Co-founder and CEO/CTO of CoinPip

Anson Zeall is a seasoned blockchain and fintech entrepreneur. He is the Co-founder/CEO of CoinPip, a blockchain-based funds settlement service for businesses and Council member of Infocorp Foundation (sentinel-chain.org), a blockchain-based last mile financial inclusion solution provider. Anson is also the Chairman of ACCESS, Singapore’s Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Industry Association, and committee member of the Singapore Fintech Association. He is an instructor of the fintech and blockchain workshop for Asian Development Bank that helps educate the various central banks in South East Asia. Anson is an alumnus of University of New South Wales and Columbia Business School.

Lin Dejean Yun

Managing Partner of RVP one and COO of Agorai

Lin is a Managing Partner at RVP ONE, a leading venture firm based in Singapore and Vienna and a COO of Agorai. She has extensive experience as both an investor and trader, having worked as a banker at firms including Deutsche Bank and China Merchant Securities International where she served as a member of their Executive Committee. She also worked at as commodities trader at BHP Billiton and Noble where she managed portfolios as large as US$3 billion.

Prior to her investing career Lin served as the CEO of FIME (acquired by France Telecom in 2005), a global pioneer and leader in chip card testing and general encryption. This experience gave her extensive experience with cryptography and its various applications across banking, identity management, and healthcare.

Robin Lee

CEO of HelloGold

Robin Lee is the former CFO of the World Gold Council where he was also the principal accounting officer for SPDR Gold Trust (‘GLD”) the world’s largest ETF, with US$24bn in assets under management. He also worked with Industrial and Commerce Bank of China to introduce the gold savings program which generated annual sales of US$6.5b. Robin’s key responsibilities are to develop relationships with third parties. He will drive product development and general administration of the business.

Rune Evensen

CVO and Founder of COSS.IO

Rune is the project’s champion and founder of COSS.IO a Singapore based cryptocurrency exchange. He is a business and start-ups consultant, entrepreneur and public speaker, who founded and co-founded multiple Internet companies throughout his career, which includes an 18-year experience in the top field leadership in collaboration with the multinational teams. Rune's expertise lies in the field of the New Marketing Strategies, sales and marketing. Rune professionally assists businesses in developing business plans, in applying market strategies, incorporation and licensing. He is Norwegian born but have spent the past 10 years in Asia where he currently work and lives.

Zann Kwan

CEO of Bitcoin Exchange

Ms. Zann Kwan brings with her 20 years of professional experience in finance and investments, with the last 5 years in cryptocurrency. Ms Kwan is the co-founder and CEO of Bitcoin Exchange Pte Ltd, a cryptocurrency pioneer that launched the first public bitcoin machine in Asia in early 2014. She is also a board member of InfoCorp Foundation, governing the token sales of InfoCorp Technology, a FinTech company that harnesses blockchain technologies for financial inclusion.

Ms Kwan sits on the board of ACCESS, the leading blockchain & cryptocurrency association in Singapore. She is also a fellow of the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), providing support and advice to their FinTech education and research activities. She also gives advisory consults on initial-coin-offering (ICO) projects.

Founder of SHE Blockchainers Asia and HASH81.org

Featured on Forbes Asia and CNBC International | Yuree is a growth-oriented visionary with 9+ years experience in marketing. She is now a founder of SHE Blockchainers Asia, empowering women in future technology, and a founder of Hash81, a growth marketing agency specializing in blockchain. She also joined Eximchain as a Marketing Lead in March 2018. She worked at Korean Telecom in South Korea before studying the Master's program at Manchester Business School. She worked at Omnicom Media Group managing the Intel's APAC  digital innovation marketing project before being involved with tech startups as a marketing lead. She fell in love with blockchain and AI as she realized the enormous potential of this future technology.
