Many companies are under pressure to announce increased earnings and improved financial ratios year on year.  What's real and what's not so substantial? As an analyst, investor, customer, are there signs you can spot that tell you the company is thriving or struggling? Could early warning signals have been detected in the financial reports of Enron, Parmalat, and other large companies?

 

CFA Singapore invites you to lunchtime forum on spotting red flags in financial reports. The forum will be led by Dr Thomas R. Robinson, CFA . Other panelists are Mr Vineet Vohra, CFA, and Asia head for structured wealth, ANZ Bank; and Mr Rodney Hay, partner with Deloitte and Touché. The session will be chaired by Sharon Craggs, CFA, adjunct professor, National University of Singapore.
